The Radus SV-360 from the VISA series is a modular machine system for the fully automatic and extremely efficient numbering of self-adhesive visa stickers, such as Schengen visas and similar visa stickers for use in passports. Unlike the usual serial numbering on sheets with multiple VISA sticker, the Radus SV-360 processes the finished visa sticker directly as a single sticker for final numbering. The system processes 4,000 visa sticker per hour to achieve the required production throughput. The stickers are separated from the stack fully automatically and then numbered in one or two colours in the various printing stations, depending on the visa type. After the camera system has checked the integrity of all serial numbers, the visa stickers are output in sequential order directly onto a shingling conveyor belt for further processing. Any visa sticker with incorrect numbering are automatically rejected and the serial number is stored for post-production. At the end of a batch, the system automatically starts post-production mode and the post-produced visa stickers can then be easily sorted into the finished batch to ensure the number sequence. For traceability purposes, the production history of a batch, including any reproductions, is automatically stored in a log file. By processing the visa stickers 100% as individual sheets, there is no need for the time-consuming numbering and renumbering of sheets. The sheets in many cases already contain several faulty visa stickers due to the multi-stage high-security printing process. These faulty visa stickers are then typically numbered in the sheet and must later be renumbered, which is very time-consuming. ● Infeed Station Fully automatic sheet feeder with ultrasonic double sheet control for formats from 97.5 mm x 111 mm to 250 x 353mm, loading of the feeder during operation. ● Pre-Inspection Station Automatic pre-inspection of incoming visa stickers with customer-specific camera inspection system. Negatively evaluated stickers are excluded from numbering and automatically ejected. ● Numbering Stations (1 to 5 stations depending on VISA Type) SU2 numbering head for horizontal and vertical impact numbering. Automatic inking device for security letterpress printing inks, oxidative and UV-based drying (LED). - Mechanical numbering boxes, automatically sequential switching, with and without manual adjustment. - Mechanical numbering boxes, computer-random-numbering CRN. (optional) Adjustable impression strength to create a tactile embossing in the sticker material. (impact numbering) ● Talon Numbering via Inkjet Continuous inkjet print system for digital numbering of visa talons. ● Integrated Control and Vision System Windows data administration control and vision system with CCD camera. Up to 4 numeric imprints are checked for integrity and legibility. By the integrated software the scanned data is compared to the database, products with incorrect reading results are rejected into a container, simultaneously the record number is saved for reproduction. ● Ouput Station The finished products are delivered into a shingling conveyor or optional into a segment belt with stack output for fixed formats. The deliveries are rotated 90° to the machine operator side.
